For over 15 years, Progress Consulting Uganda has been at the heart of organizational transformation in East Africa — building leaders, aligning strategies, and driving sustainable impact.
Progress Consulting Uganda was founded in 2010 by Dr. Grace Namukasa Kibuuka with a clear and urgent mission: to build the leadership and organizational capacity that Uganda's rapidly developing economy desperately needed.
Starting with a team of three passionate consultants operating from a modest office on Parliamentary Avenue, we quickly earned a reputation for rigorous thinking, authentic partnership, and measurable results.
"We don't just consult — we walk alongside our clients, sharing in their challenges and celebrating their victories. Uganda's success is our success."
Today, we are a team of 28 consultants and coaches with expertise spanning organizational development, leadership psychology, strategic management, and human capital. We have served over 200 organizations across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda — from government ministries and international NGOs to fast-growing private enterprises and social enterprises.
Dr. Grace Namukasa Kibuuka is one of Uganda's most respected voices in organizational leadership and development. With a doctorate in Organizational Psychology from Makerere University and executive education from the London Business School, she brings a unique blend of academic rigour and practical wisdom to every client engagement.
Before founding Progress Consulting Uganda, Dr. Grace served as Director of Human Capital at Stanbic Bank Uganda and as a Senior Advisor to the Ministry of Public Service. She has been a keynote speaker at the African Leadership Forum, the Uganda CEO Summit, and the East African Business Council Annual Conference.
Dr. Grace is deeply committed to developing African leadership solutions for African challenges — approaches that honour local context, culture, and community while harnessing global best practices.
"Leadership development in Uganda must be grounded in our own heritage, values, and aspirations," she often says. "When we build confident, values-driven leaders here, we build a stronger Uganda."
Every engagement, every conversation, every recommendation is anchored in these foundational principles.
We speak truth even when it's uncomfortable. Our clients trust us because we always put their genuine interests first.
We hold ourselves and our clients to the highest standards — in thinking, in delivery, and in the outcomes we create together.
We build deep, authentic relationships. Our clients are partners, not projects, and their success is a shared responsibility.
Everything we do is oriented toward real, measurable change — for organizations, for leaders, and ultimately for Uganda.
Our consultants bring together deep expertise, genuine passion, and a shared commitment to Uganda's growth.
